Foreskin in Health Class?

One of the individuals running this blog is doing a project on the education of intact male genitals. Here is his mission:

The General United States culture has recognized circumcision as a precautionary ‘minor’ surgery, and is unaware of the sexual, protective functions of the male prepuce. This cutlture has also had difficulties discussing the ethics of this practice in institutionalized and general discourse. Due to the western perception of nudity in public, and censorship in the media, this topic has become a prominent discussion online and through literary works. But it has been unable to penetrate the general public. My solution is to loosen the reins on this stigmatized topic, demystify circumcision as a routine practice, and educate multiple demographics that encompass this stigma.

I would like to know others experiences concerning the education of the male genitals in school. This includes k-12 as well as college courses. What were you taught? What do you remember? Were you taken into another room to learn about it? What was censored?
